Baptism is how you say out loud, in front of everybody, that you belong to Jesus. If you're ready — or if you're only wondering — start here.

What baptism is

In baptism you go down into the water and come back up out of it, and in doing that you publicly identify with Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection. It doesn't save you. It says you have been saved, and it says it in a way everyone in the room can see.

We baptize anyone who can put their own faith into their own words — children included, once they can say for themselves what they believe and why they want to do this. If your child is asking about it, that's a good conversation and we'd love to be in it with you.

“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.”
